Sunday April 1st Open Show Jumping Results

Our events at the field have started much earlier this year, on the chance that we should enjoy some good weather this spring. We were very fortunate this weekend, an improvement in the weather in the week before meant that the going was perfect for show jumping.  We were well supported throughout the day, with some healthy entries particularly in the PRE novice and Novice qualifier. Fraser Frost (20-photos) was snapping away, and the shots are on his website already! There were a few tumbles, but everyone got up and walked away, thanks to the soft ground. Adam was with us ‘pushing’ the website and the new t shirts which look rather smart, but which were suited to warmer weather. With the soft going, and the number of entries, quite a bit of damage was done to the main ring and the newly located collecting ring, but there was plenty of help to put all the jumps away, and take down the ropes, and the field has now been rolled ready for next time, Members Show, Sunday April 15^th. Many,  many thanks to those of you who helped on the day.
