Leave M1 at Juncion 36 and follow signs A61 (s) to Sheffield. Your route will bring you through High Green, Grenoside and you’ll drop down into Hillsborough with Sheffield Wednesday FC on your right hand side. Follow the dual carriageway past B & Q, and follow the signs for the University and Childrens Hospital, then you will take the dual carriageway up the hill, driving parallel to the tram tracks.
At the University roundabout, top of the hill, take the third exit which will take you past the University on your right and at the approaching traffic lights in front of the Childrens Hospital take the left hand lane.
Drop down the hill to the next set of traffic lights and you will follow the traffic through towards the Hallamshire Hospital. However before reaching the next set of lights you need to be in the left hand lane. This will take you past the Botanical Gardens and eventually take you down to Hunters Bar roundabout.
At Hunters Bar Roundabout, take the fourth exit, you are now on the A625 Sheffield – Hathersage Rd heading in the direction of Ecclesall Dore and eventually Hathersage, although don’t panic as you’re only five minutes away. DO NOT leave the A625, follow the road, the last pub you’ll pass is the Wheatsheaf Pub on your left and we are 2/3 minutes on the right hand side. Our gateway is just before the Dore Moor Inn. If you overshoot the gateway, three left turns will bring you back on to the main road.

Directions to Hallamshire Showground from M1 south

Leave M1 at Junction 29 proceeding to Sheffield on A61 N. Do not leave A61 until you arrive at the Meadowhead Roundabout.
At Meadowhead roundabout take 1^st exit and immediately ‘jump’ into right hand line, taking a right turn against the oncoming traffic. This part of your journey will be sign posted A621 and A625.
Drop down the hill to the next roundabout and take 1^st exit left on to Abbey Lane. Follow road to traffic lights with the Beauchief Hotel an your left. Go straight through the traffic lights, you’ve just crossed over the A621 and are heading up the hill to the A625.
Do not leave this road, you’re driving through Ecclesall Woods and the saw mill will be on your right hand side. When you arrive at the T junction with the A625, turn left and follow the road for 2/3 minutes. Our gateway is on the right hand side of the road, just after the junction with Long Line, just before the Dore Moor Inn.
If you overshoot the gateway, three left turns will bring you back to the main road.

How to get to us from Chesterfield

Follow the A61 towards Sheffield.
At the Norton roundabout turn left, and move straight into the right hand side lane
Take your first right, crossing the oncoming traffic.
At next roundabout turn left, onto Abbey Lane and follow road to traffic lights, Beauchief Hotel will be on your Left hand side.
Go straight through the lights and up the hill towards the A625.
Turn left onto A625 and follow this road for 4/5 mins, our gateway is on rhs, before The Dore Moor Inn.
